Ok guys I got stuck in some MAJOR traffic headed to the lease two weekends ago! Took over 1 hour to move less than 2 miles because I-20 was shut down in both directions for construction and all traffic was forced to exit onto the service roads.

Coming back this past weekend I saw a sign warning of additional closures in the Hudson Oaks/Willow Park area for late this week and maybe even the weekend but cant remember the times or dates of the planned closures. I saw where there was talk of postponing it due to weather but cant find any recent info.

Anyone have any up to date info of time and dates of closures in that area?? Sure would save a lot of us some major head aches this weekend!!!

This past Sunday we took 380 to 35W to 820 to 20W out to Eastland. There was no construction except on 35W. Aside from the fact that Ranger Hill still scares the snot out of me, no issues. Hope that helps.

Last Saturday I was stuck on Hwy 20 in Hudson oaks for over two hours. On Sunday coming back from Eastland, no problem. But I know construction is still going on. Janie, I saw in the Ranger Paper last weekend that all funding for a new Hwy20 going up Ranger hill has been approved. They are suppose to start construction on new road very soon. I guess that is why they just built two new rest stops at the top of Ranger Hill.

I drive that stretch 2 times a day 5 days a week, from Santo to Lake Worth and back. The signs have been saying for the past week or so they will close it from 8pm-5am on 11/2-11/3. I get stuck in it pretty much on a weekly basis but no way will I wait in it, I go thru the bar ditch and go thru Weatherford.

I just looked on City of Hudson Oaks facebook page and they said Wednesday nights closure was postponed due to rain and they were going to see whether they close tonight. I sure hope they hold off as I go that way to the lease in the morning.
