Rut is already under way. Lots of chasing for the last two weeks, as usual. Lots of acorns on the ground. Scattered showers all week and no cold air in sight.

Eastern Blanco, now till mid Nov should be peak
Central & western usually a little later.

Typically, the week of Thanksgiving is pretty good, as the does come into cycle again. I've always done fairly well during that week. Lots of rutting activity usually, especially if some colder temps set in.

Also had good success the week of Thanksgiving last year. Hoping for the same this year along with cold temps
