First time I've seen these free range Red Sheep & Armenian Mouflon hunts....interesting.
I guess if you're trying to qualify for OVIS, then it is appealing....but their prices are literally TRIPLE what a high fenced hunt would cost. And believe me, if you hunted either of those species on a fenced place that's a couple thousand acres, you'd never know the difference. They are extremely skittish animals.

I am not a member of The Hunting Report but there is some feed back from those who hunted with him: http://www.huntingreport.com/hunting_article_list.cfm?animal=Sheep,%20Red%20Hunting

He's been around a long time. Yes they are free range. We get a few on our ranches from time to time that are in that general area. From what I hear it's a good outfi .

I don't plan on hunting it but it was brought to my attention by a friend that is a sheep freak. The prices shocked me. Was wondering what the extra $10k buys.

I have told him about you after my hunt in '13 down on the Devils River with Clint. It's on the list maybe in '18 or '19. We got hunts booked through next year, Headed to Colorado for mule deer with him in the a.m. Won't be sleeping tonight....

Prices are flat out ridiculous.
The groundwork of all happiness is hunting.

I think what you are paying for is the ability to claim free range and entry into the record books. You cannot do that with a high fence animal. A good red sheep hunt for a ram in the low 30 inch range is typically $4500 or so. So it is an extra 10K to put your name in a record book for free range and not travel to Iran.
