Never hunted bear before. My wife and I are both in our 70's so not looking for a spot and stalk hunt but more of a sitting in a stand. She decided she wanted to put this on her bucket list. You can PM me if you want or just post it here. Thank you.

We have baited bear hunts available for the 2017 season. Our opportunity rate for 2016 was 100%, we take about 50% color phase bears and about 75% are boars. The stands are mostly tree stands and we use a couple ground blinds, all the tree stands are ladder stands between 10 -16 feet high. The walks in to the stands are all less than 1/2 mile. We have camp based hunts, lodge based hunts or hunts based from a private cabin on a local guest ranch. We do spring hunts from May 15 - June 15 and fall hunts from September 1 - October 9. Our spring camp based hunts are already pretty booked up with return clients but we could still accommodate a pair of hunters from May 29 - June 2, arrival for this hunt is May 28 & departure is June 3, we could also accommodate spring hunts from the lodge or cabins any time between May 15 & June 15. Our fall camp is already booked full for September 18 - 22 but we could accommodate a hunt before or after that from camp or any time between September 1 & October 9 from the lodge or cabins. You can check out our web site, www.clarkforkoutfitters.com there is also a link to our facebook page on the home page of the web site, you can call me on my cell at 208-290-3087 or you can call our home/office number is 208-266-0795.

You are very welcome, I forgot to mention that we are in a 2 bear area so you have the option of doing a hunt for 2 bears or adding a second bear if you tag out early.
