First off, long time reader but first time poster. I have this buck that just showed up Sunday on a foggy morning. What do yall think his age is and also what are your thoughts on him in an antler restriction county?

Bad pict but I'll say 3.5

And yes he will make AR width.

Funny thing about getting older:
Your eyesight starts getting weaker but your ability to
see through people's BS gets much better.

Yep, FWIW that's my opinion too. Nice deer.

First impression from only one pic was mature. His posture and being long/lanky make him hard to judge from that one pic though. I think he is much older than what he looks though. He appears to have a lot of staining on his hocks and a muscled up neck/front shoulder area also.

Wish I had a better picture but this is the only one we have of this buck so far. He just happened to show up when it's foggy. I was thinking 3.5 as well initially

I Feed Indian Corn. The deer love it and all the colors make them stay at the feeder longer.

Looking at the legs and shoulders, the legs do not look short and hindquarters are larger then the shoulder area. So not an old mature buck. Probably 3.5

I am saying 4.5 yrs old. Unless he has had much extra protein, horns just too big for 3.5.

Bang! As old as he'll ever be.

There's only 2 seasons in a year. Deer season and getting ready for deer season.
