Anyone have a report on bucks in Palo Pinto County? What have you seen out there?
Thanks.

Bump
I'm curious as well.
How's the hunting around 180 and Hwy 16?
Anybody hunting the 101?

Bucks are chasing pretty good around Strawn . I haven't seen a really big deer yet. I've shot a few doe and one management buck so far. I hope it will cool off and the big boys will come out of hiding. No one hunts the 101 that I know of other than a select few friends and family. I have seen some pictures of some deer on the 101 and wow they have some big deer.

I hunt near 180 and Hwy 16. We haven't seen many good bucks this year and no shooters to speak of. Had a nice 10 pt 3.5 year old in the other day, but he needs at least 1 more year. Other than that, there hasn't been much on the cameras. I'm hoping that the weather change will get them moving. We passed on ALOT of 3.5 year old deer last year anticipating a fruitful year and we are still hopeful that they are still around and will stick their head out during rut. We'll see. Good luck to you. See ya at Mary's wink
