Staying scent free is a must in my book.

I wash my sleesping bags and every piece of clothing I wear at the lease. Plus I bring unscented baby wipes, unscented bar soap and unscented deodorant. Plus spray bottle of coverscent.

Notice the laundry detergent is very over priced as well as the bar soaps and other hygiene unscented products made by hunting companies are just so overpriced.

I buy the regular fragrance free detergents and bar soap from Wal-Mart for half the price of that overpriced hunting stuff.

I do scent free everything I can, but poop happens a lot of times before you get there.
I break of a branch of a cedar tree and swipe my clothes etc. down before I hunt up

Scent free is a myth. It is a gun control scam started by the left wing democrats to try and rob the Republican hunters of cash.

I hunted on a ranch a few years ago and there was a family there that took the scent free pretty seriously. They would put their hunting clothes in rubber containers so that they wouldn't get "contaminated." This was the first and last time I saw someone take the scent free to any level, guess what, we killed the exact same amount of deer.

I've gotten a whole scent free kit after season as well for under $10.

There are alternatives to the high priced products out there. I use Speed Stick unscented and Neutragena unscented bar soap. There are also unscented detergents but they last so long that I just pony up for the sport wash products.

Field and Stream magazine debunked "scent free" clothing claims. You can never eliminate
your scent, but rather, you can reduce it a little. They did an experiment with a drug sniffing
dog and the dog found the hunter wearing scent free clothes every time. I think it's
a good practice to try to reduce your scent to some degree and always hunt with the
wind in your face. I use to buy that high dollar scent free clothing,..but no more.
I still kill the same amount of deer whether stinky or clean. As a matter of fact,
I just killed a mule deer last week in NM and hadn't showered for 3 days.
