Everything that needed repair is done. Shredding of roads is done. Ammo loaded. Rifle zeroed. Feeders full. Game cams have new batteries. Knives are sharp. Wasps are cleared from blinds.

Can you think of anything I might have missed?

Hunting license?

Thermacell, 600oz of scent killer gold, muzzy broad heads, yeti cooler, under armor camo, primos calls, and anything else you see on the outdoor channel.

Clothes, bino, bottle Makers. Several years ago I was so excited with opening day, I drive nearly 2 hrs and realized right before I got to camp that I left my rifle at home. Dohhhh....

But this brings up a good point, assuming the camp and hunting spot is prepared, how soon do you start getting the other essentials ready for opening day? For me, I've already packed my bags. Laid out all other supplies and equipment in the garage ready to load in truck on Friday afternoon. Will place my grocery order on Thursday to arrive on Friday at work, and then pick up th Mrs.

My case is a bit different from some of ya'll. I live here, so there's no drive to worry about. Got the binocs, TP, compass, bug spray, scent killer, flashlight and such in my possible bag. Got the new license a while back. I'm ready.....let's get it onnnnnn....

Packed up your shorts, T shirt and sandals? Don't forget a towel to take a dip in the tank, a body gets nasty hunting in 90* weather bang
