Black squirrel (Otospermophilus variegatus) juvenile. Man, I hate these things. Poison placed for his kin. There I was, sitting in my favorite lawn chair, enjoying a Partagas 1845, and this little bastard sticks his head out - go inside, load up the 62A, back to chair and cigar - sure 'nuf, curiosity got him killed. 'Wish I could find 2 or 3 more (rifled - there were smooth bores for carnival guns) that aren't shot out. They're great for rat shot too.

Smooth bore or not it apparently shoots well enough to dispatch a tree rat. Good job and really neat gun.

I know its not the same but you can still find the Rossi copies on the interweb. It's a cool little gun in itself although its no 62a
