What do you use to grind your venison and what would you reccomend?

I use a Cabela's commercial grade grinder. Only takes a few deer to pay for itself. I haven't paid to have one processed since I bought mine 2 years ago. It has processed 3 Kansas deer and at least 7 Texas deer. Great machine that I recommend.

What ever you get make sure you buy the BEST and BIGGEST you can afford, Cabelas does have a good line but look at some commercial websites

Also, same goes for the vacuum sealer you should get to package. This is a must to avoid freezer burn..

I bought the 3/4hp LEM Big Bite #12. We've run 5 deer through it with nary a hiccup.

I grind about 6-8 deer a year with mine. I got it but 3 years ago, still going strong.
