Please keep an eye out for anyone trying to sell a Fred Bear Vapor 300. 31" draw length in a dark green plano plastic bow case. I noticed it missing from my garage today, and have scoured the entire house/garage. The only conclusion that I can come to is that someone stole it out of the garage sometime in the last week.

What's sad is the dirt bag will take it to a pawn shop and give it away for just a few bucks so they can get high.
Check around there could be other items missing, and then contact your insurance company.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

I'm going to be checking pawn shops today. Nothing else missing, and deductible is too high to bother with claiming.

sorry to hear about that. hopefully, it had some kind of permanent
serial number on it that you had recorded somewhere and could identify
it with. the sad reality is you'll likely never see it again. out of all
the stuff that was taken from my break in last year, i only got my camera
back, and wouldn't have got that if not for the serial number and me still
having the manual. they got it back from a pawn shop here a couple of blocks
away. at least you have a photo of it for identification. i once found my
own gun in a pawn shop some years ago while looking for tools. they said
"oh yes. .we have people checking all the pawn shops. ."
sorry but i don't have much faith in the authorities finding folks
stolen property for them. or the thieves serving any time.
good luck

Try craigslist over the next week of so. Sorry to hear that news, that sucks. Nothing p!$$$ me off more than thiefs. My truck was broken in to a few years - stole briefcase (mac in it), hunting bag and pistol. Forgot to grab those out of my truck after a long weekend. The police recovered the Mac 9 months later - still waiting on recovering of the pistol.

The real pisser is, I'm not done bowhunting for the season. I have a week long hunt in Oklahoma on the 11th of Nov. I have to replace it NOW. Can't wait to see if it is recovered.

That suck... hope you find the jerk!

If you look back over your life are you fully satisfied you pleased the Maker of Creation. Are you fully assured that you have trusted in His Son, Jesus Christ, for your salvation. Are you confident that you have a definite hope of going to Heaven?
