happy3 Good man. You did a good thing.

I Feed Indian Corn. The deer love it and all the colors make them stay at the feeder longer.

It is my understanding that shooting it is illegal about like shooting a neighbors livestock that stray. Not sure though.

About 15 years ago I had an immature bull elk on my place. I called the GW and he called the owner about 25 miles away. The guy called me and told me to shoot it if I wanted to. He didn't see any way to corral and bring it back. I saw it several times but decided it wasn't hurting anything and I enjoyed watching it. No idea what happened to it.

Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

Boy, if I say "sic em", you'd better look for something to bite. Sam Shelley, Rancher Muleshoe Texas 1892-1985 RIP
