Hey everyone, I just bought the Buck Bomb for the first time and I intend on using it for this upcoming deer season. I have talked to a few people since I bought it, and they said that it is the most effective when used as a curiosity scent or as a cover scent. Would you guys use this as a cover scent when deer hunting?? How would you apply it? Thanks in advance everyone!

I do not use a cover scent, so if the wind is not right I don't hunt that blind. Nothing can beat keeping the wind in your favor. Hunt where the does are and the bucks will be around also.
welcome

I've used it once, I'm undecided on it.

First one I used drew in a coyote. Undecided if it attracted a deer.

I use "Evercalm Deer Heard in a stick" and have had great success. Wind or no wind, within 20 yards.

I will also grab some fresh, Cedar bush, rub the branches on my clothes.

I will also step in fresh, cow patties as a cover sent.

I use Big and J deer blocks or similar, deer, axis, black buck love them and the turkeys cant vacuum them up like corn.

I'll take all the advantage I can

I've sprayed in on trees and had bucks go to that tree before going to feeder. I've also sprayed it on a decoy and had a young buck mount the decoy. I buy some every year

I've used it once and had a young buck come in with his lip curled, grunting and ready. I didn't really use it as a cover scent but with a cross wind. If you are bow hunting it's best to have the wind in your face but the problem is that in a lot of places where deer numbers are high you'll get busted anyway because the deer come in from multiple directions.

I tried these with zero success. I read somewhere that the propellant, compressed gas or whatever used to disperse the scent is a red flag for deer.

How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?

Tried it this weekend, and they walked right past where I sprayed and they paid it no mind.
