Yep, if a Democrat gets elected to the Presidency we can pretty much kiss that Right goodbye.

I'm starting to feel as if she is going to win! It's so important for everyone to get out and vote.

Amen to this! No matter how much you have to hold your nose to push some of those buttons, DON'T STAY HOME!

What does it take to change an amendment? 2/3 of both houses of Congress and if they pass it 3/4 of all states must pass it. So how soon do you think changes will be made?

That isn't going to happen, period. I'm more worried about making ownership more restrictive and/or ammo possession more difficult. That takes way less effort to achieve.

You guys don't understand the big picture (and I don't mean to blame you, it's just all too common these days). The 2nd amendment doesn't have to be changed at all. Only the interpretation of it. You have 4 Supreme Court justices now that believe, truly believe that the 2nd amendment applies to an individuals right. You have 4 that believe it does not. Tip that balance and you will lose every 2nd amendment decision that goes to the Supreme Court. Tip that balance, and you've lost the 2nd Amendment (in effect) without ever having to change it.

I have no concerns that Clinton will get the 2nd repealed or even amended. My concern is what she will be able to do in the way of Supreme Court justices. The interpretation of the 2nd by them is where your rights will begin to erode. If she is elected the balance will absolutely be shifted to the liberal side and that is bad for all of us. As others have said, there have been some close decisions and those close ones will not be in our favor going forward.

Pretty scary how close to the edge we are.

They won't repeal the amendment, the will regulate it out of existence.

That and letting the gun manufacturers be sued.

Yep! Then add this.

Congress has unlimited ability to levy any amount of tax they wish. There has already been talk about a huge tax on ammo and reloading components and supplies. I can already hear the justification of a $5.00/round tax:

"This has nothing to do with the second amendment - we support that"
"You can still have all the ammo you need for self protection"
"After all, hunters only need a handful of cartridges per year"
"The new money will be for the children"
"This will stop the inner city violence"
"Think of all of the wildlife programs this can help fund!"

Anyone feel secure enough to want to bet against that? (Think tax stamp......)

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

With her "pen and phone" we will see legislating through executive order, the precedence has been set and no one stood up and said a word about it.
I voted yesterday.

If elected, I think she will keep up the pressure that B O started almost 8 years ago. I also think it's time for "We the People" to step up to the plate and defend our country. Voting is crucial.

There is so much corruption in Washing DC that anything can happen. After the last 8 years I do believe "We The People" are in deep trouble.

Trump is not in office yet so don't count your chickens before they hatch. Make no mistake, hitlery is not just rolling over and accepting a trump presidency.

God has a plan and something special in mind for all of us. Do you know the direction that God wants to send you?
