This is a deer i had on camera that wasn't shot last year hunted him every day but never saw hide nor hair of him. Still waiting to see him this year. Didn't have any early season pics of him last year so I still have a little hope.

Yup made me sick i didn't get a crack at him last year. Moved my setup some this year and Im getting more daytime pictures of some mature bucks. Hoping to get some pictures of him a little later.

Good luck. Really nice, mature buck who knows what's up. Try several setups for different wind directions if you can. Even pop-ups or tripods. Very hard to kill a buck like that hunting from the same stand morning and evening. Unless he's after some tail up

I have to go with popups we have really thick vegetation in that area but not anything over about 6-8 feet tall. Being a native East Texan I would give anything for a pine tree to put a climber in, but so is life.

That's what I'd do then. Trying to kill a mature buck that's blind shy is almost impossible. Mix it up and keep him guessing. And best of luck to you!
