Rattled in a 9pt. He would never turn for a broadside shot and then spotted me in the tree ready to loose an arrow. You could see the tension in his body as he was preparing to make his escape... He wasn't leaving alive so I sent one through the front, he went down in 50 yards...

Nice shot! Was the arrow still in him? I almost had a bad accident a few years ago when I started to gut a buck not realizing my arrow and broadhead were still inside.

Very nice deer! What part of the State or County are you hunting in? Nice that he responded to horns!

Very nice buck deer sir.

Scratching my head on how the shot went down. You shot him while he was facing you through the neck/chest and it exited the rear or side?

How high in the tree were you?

Entrance a little right of center of base of neck and chest (looking at the deer), exit was on the deers right side out of the rib cage. I was going for a heart shot, not gonna pretend I know how or why it did what it did. Just glad it did.... food

The base of the stand is 20 foot.
