Hello Erny, yes these Lions were the last two lions to be hunted and exported to the USA before the ban came into effect on 22 January 2016 at midnight.

Shame about the US government banning lion imports. I can see how this will result in fewer lions. Hopefully hunters in other countries will continue to support them, but this might be the end of the African Lion.

Hello Loodt, hope all is well. Good looking cat and PG. The ban will be lifted but when is the big question. Glad I got a chance to hunt lion before all this mess started.

Unfortunately it does not look good for the African Lion at all Eddie and TNTBR, we hope that countries such as Russia continues to support the endeavors of the Safari Outfitters and hunt lions so that the existence of the species could be enhanced. However we still get American clients that hunt these species with the hopes that the ban would be lifted and they can eventually export these trophies to home soil.
Good for you getting the chance in hunting one whilst you could still export TNTBR, share a picture of your kitty if you dont mind?
Thanks for participating on the thread guys!
