I ordered my suppressor with my trust and all via SilencerCo probably back in April, trying not to pay any attention to it...
Is there any kind of notification I'll get that basically says I'm over the big hump and I'm at least close?

I'm terribly impatient, so the wait for my first two suppressors was a best down. I'm three months in on my third suppressor now and I haven't given it muck thought this time. A buddy of mine just received his approval after a ten month wait.

I've got one in jail at Capitol Armory, they just sent an email that said you can easily expect 10-12 months or more for a July 2016 filing. I expect it about this time next year at this point. Oh well!

I did the trust thing, so what would my steps be if I want to buy another one? Is it the new process, just not having to do the trust?

Form 4's submitted in Feb/Mar are just coming in (for us).
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

I just picked up my suppressor yesterday from capital armory. Ordered it february 20th, it was mailed the 22nd and was approved on the 2nd of oct. Capital didnt notify me until the 20th that it was approved and available to pickup. So almost 8 months exactly.

I submitted mine Feb 22nd and was approved at exactly 7mos. I also submitted an SBR in early July and I'm assuming 10 mos or more for that one.

I would be prepared to go pick it up when they (capital armory) let you know its in. The process for having it shipped is almost ridiculous. there are forms to be filled out and notarized for a non-over the counter transfer and then a letter sent to the CLEO (where you live) to let them know it is being done,then a waiting period for CLEO to reply. After that you get to deal with the shipping company. I originally planned to have it shipped but after receiving the instructions for shipping I just made the trip. I was in and out of Capital in 10 minutes.
