While out and about, running my trap line this morning, I took some time out and fired several more magazines of 9mm through my Taurus, and in the process, I passed the 700 round mark without a single FTF or FTE. Never had another pistol that ran through that many rounds, of 10 or 12 different varieties of ammo, without a failure. I'm beginning to think that Taurus finally got their stuff all wired up tightly with this particular pistol. I'm going to keep pushing it, but not at the rate I have been, because it really is performing well for me, and I'm going broke trying to break it.

Thanks for the update. Maybe Taurus could send some ammo for your efforts. I like my Taurus, not the Millennium.

Not a chance, Dalee7892! No "pay for play" for this old guy. I wouldn't accept anything that might cause me to give Taurus (or any other manufacturer) "a break." This was/is my little project that I'm doing on my own nickel. Maybe I'd better quit whimpering about the cost!
