If you are running a CDI bottom metal with a Tikka action the Magpul AICS mags won't work. I believe they are to fat at the top and hit the bottom of the action therefore they won't lock up. So much for trying to save a few bucks. I guess I'll go with Alpha or Accurate mags.

Do you think there is any way to modify the mag to make it fit? Looking at getting some Accurate bottom metal for a Savage short action accustock which converts it to feed off of AICS mags.

You can shorten the magazine release lever to obtain proper mag height. That is from their troubleshooting sheet they sent with my cdi metal.

The magpul mags worked great with my Savage and McRee Precision chassis.
