Anybody know of a great guide service that will put you on the geese here in texas?

I've hunted the Lubbock area with these guys several times: Tejas H2O Fowl

Ruben is awesome and put us on some MONSTER Canadians each hunt. We are hunting with them again this coming December.

Death Row Waterfowl

I have hunted with these two and they both produced well. You will need to go out west. The outfitters around DFW are hunting golf course geese. Those hunts are best during teal season.

If you are going to quote someone use the whole quote. In North Texas the best time to hunt Canadian Geese is during the early season which coincides with the Teal season. The Golf Course Geese are the biggest and most fun to hunt IMO. You may get a chance to take one during a duck hunt but they are not generally directly targeted often after the early season. They are big for a reason.

Born and raised in south central Texas, and he is absolutely right, they are Canada geese, not Canadian. Heaven forbid we admit we made an error.
