Does full moon affect hog hunting?

The hogs in my area don't seem to be influenced by the moon phases. Weather changes seem to disrupt their movement patterns but food availability appears to be the most important thing to them.

Yes. Makes it much easier to see them with my NV without turning on the IR.

Oh Yeah! Particularly beginning a few days after the full moon, when the moon is still fairly high in the sky at dawn. I like to get up early and go out. That way, if I get one, I can clean it in daylight.

I have two unwritten rules:
1.
2.

I have pigs on multiple leases and they all seem to follow the solunar tables. Not to the "T", but within an hour of it generally. I'm sure it also depends on where you are in the world. place with plenty of food wont be the same as no food. Place with no food they will be standing there waiting on the feeder to go off.

The pigs aren't fed as they are not wanted. Don't know what they eat other than the roots of broom weeks. Almost the same place as last year and then it was only once. There is plenty of wheat 200 yds away. No tracks down there. Confused. Guess I'll have to camp out till they show up.

Couple weeks ago the isolunar app said prime feeding time would be 5 am. I sat in a brush blind from 7 pm to 530 am. The pigs showed up almost at exactly 5 am. Kinda crazy not sure if its coincidence or not but thought that was cool.

It matters when fishing for sure. I would think a lot of wild life use the moon to their advantage for feeding or moving. Humans are affected as well.
