I put it in a couple feeders at the lease. Location is between Menard & Junction. We've had a heavy acorn crop this year, which I guess the deer prefer. On one feeder I have some decent activity on the game camera, including hogs one night, but the other feeder I've seen very poor activity, seems like most of the corn thrown is on the ground.

I've seen it. Never tried it. If y'all have lots of acorns on the ground, corn just won't be popular. Well need a good freeze soon.

Never seen it and would not buy it. Just another $ gimmick. When acorns are gone they will be back on your corn.

Most Texas deer have no idea what an or orange is. Get the acorns gone they will be back.

Well we have a customer who hunts south texas. Evidently, it's pretty big down there. He swears by it. Says he did a test and corned a sendero with 1/2 corn and 1/2 orange corn. According to him, the orange corn was hammered and they barely touched the normal corn when given the option. Apparently, the scent is way stronger than typical scented corn. I have to admit that we are going to try some on our place. We'll see if there is a noticeable difference.

I will agree 1000% about the acorns. Wondering where all of those 10 pointers from last year went. Really expected to have several nice shooter bucks this year and haven't got a pic of one yet. Good thing the rut is around the corner.

Was at a place, Russells in azle I believe, and they had apple scented and persimmon scented corn varieties. Didn't try either, but both were not priced more than a dollar more than regular corn.

I suppose if I had an apple orchard or a persimmon orchard then maybe these things would go, but in normal north texas I can not imagine the deer care for any of it.

I expect someday someone will market fresh doe scented corn...
