We have this deer on camera in Jack County. I don't think he's older than 3 1/2 but I'm interested to see hear the THF thoughts. Also, I have attached a pic of a deer a think he might have been last year. Happy hunting!

I see more 4 than 3 in those pics but he is middle-aged. Nice buck.

Nothing beats seeing one live and in color as they interact with other bucks. That tells you more than a pic.

Looks middle aged to me. If I had to decide on one year and one year only id probably call him 3 just to give him another year.

Thanks for the response guys; we're going to give him another year. The picture attached below is of a mature looking buck we had last year (after the season of course).

Probably 4. What's the pvc angled down off your feeder? used to attach auger/blow to fill your feeder or some other use?

4.0-4.5 yo, that first 2016 I do not believe is him, would be a big jump in horn mass and spread. That other early 2016 pic lower may very well be him.

One of the guys put the pvc on there for a bird feeder; don't ask me I've never used it!

We have a few more pictures from a new camera. I think this guy is still a little bit young; we are going to let him walk and see if he makes it through. He does have a really pretty double throat patch though.

Here's a new buck we have (nocturnal of course) but he looks older to me. He's a nice 8 with kickers on his G2's! Let me know your thoughts on him

Last buck is definitely mature. Not so sure about the double throat patch buck. He looks middle-aged in some ways and mature in others. Tough call from just the photos.

First pics of the new buck, he looks more middle-aged. The last buck looks to be mature.

Thanks for looking and sorry about all the pics! Double throat definitely looks younger in these pics.
