I have walked close to many skunks before without incident, however this morning my son and I were riding our 4 wheelers across the hay field when we came upon a skunk running down the trail by the time we realized that it was a skunk he blasted at us as we were passing by and a few particles hit us on our right sides, gloves, pant leg and trigger releases. Needless to say we needed no cover scent this morning.

At least it wasn't too bad.

I almost stepped on one last Fall. Stepped over a log and almost put my foot on his back. Why he didn't spray me I don't know. He just scurried away a few yards and then turned around and looked at me. I went back the way I came ...... grin

Baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, dish soap. Rub all over and let it sit a while, rinse and repeat. I had a similar event this weekend. Smell fresh as a daisy now.

If you can't laugh at yourself, give me a call. I'll gladly laugh at you.

My son left his leafy suit hanging in the tree and my wife is washing a little laundry but it could have been a lot worse, was not too bad.
