No. It's not screw worms. It's nasal bots. Most deer in Texas have them.

Thanks for the info I'm from WI. It was a first for me. He had so many in his nose I would be surprised if he could breath through his nose. Do cattle and horses get those too? We don't have them. Or at least I've never seen them.

Yep horses and cattle get a similar bot fly. Even humans get them.
