Ok, lets try again

The goal of this range report was to confirm my BDC Turret was correct before I go hunting. I'm shooting my McWhorter 6.5 Weatherby (.257 Wea, necked to 6.5) 67.5gr H-1000, Berger 140gr VLD Hunting, seated to mag length. 3000fps
I was aiming dead center on the steel targets. DISCLAIMER: I have never considered myself a world champion Rifle Shooter... I started at 200 on the ShootNC, confirm my 200yd zero. looking back, I should have made the minor adjustment, it shows later

6.5 Weatherby

200 yards

300 yards

400 yards

500 yards, had to move to platform, herniated disc, fat belly and sun in eyes

What size are those plates? Looks like your BDC is usable with that load/rifle combo.

I have a Redfield scope for 22's that has this feature. I have never tested it, but now I guess I'd better!

Good shooting. That round looks like it's going 5,000 fps sitting on the table.

Low at 500, low at 600. FAIL!

Those targets are 2 MOA.

.5 MOA elevation would center all up nicely I think. At 200 you would be less than a inch high instead of slightly low.
