When broadcasting how many pounds per acre for iron clay / cow peas?

I'm not STX, but up here they recommend about 45-50# acre with pea blends.

Make sure you get (if seed isnt treated already), EL Type inoculate, the bacteria will help the plants intake nitrogen and they will grow much better. If you have used it in the past, you "may" have enough bacteria already in the ground, better safe though.

Sorry about the STX, I meant South Texas region. I'm hoping they have the inoculate usually they have the seed but not the inoculate. Planning to plant after the 1st depending on moisture and chance of rain. Planting two plots one is 400yds X 50yds, the other is 500yds X 30yds. I planted last fall but the turkeys got most of the seed before it could germinate, scratched the entire area three days later you couldn't find a seed anywhere nothing but dirt and turkey chit.

I drilled 25-30#/acre, so broadcasting you would want a bit more or around 35-40#/acre. Seeds are small, so there a quite a few in each pound. For me Red Rippers tend to be a bit more drought tolerant and vine a lot better than Iron and Clays. Deer prefer the Reds more than the Iron and Clay. I mix them 50/50 so that I will have one if the other gets grazed out first.

To many worms this year, thinking of passing. Usually when there's a sworm of butterflies for week or so its key indicator the worms will be plentiful IME.

I broadcast 50lbs per acre, but then I always try to over seed just a little.
