I prefer lower 1/3. Otherwise I tend to try to make sure the sights and dot are lined up. To me, it defeats the purpose of a reflex/holographic sight by making it slower to acquire the target (for me). I don't like my sight picture too cluttered. I'm the same way with bow sights which is why I use a single pin sight instead of multi pin.

All mine are co-witness but I guess it doesnt really matter since Ive never used them!!
