Near Rocksprings, mission was to control non-native species on a large game preserve. That usually means Axis deer but pigs were on the menu this weekend.

Oh well! Can't get 'em all... Sorry the editing sucks.

Looks like fun!

Can't wait to get moved out there and partake in that.

How do you sight in your thermal? There's got to be a better, more accurate way that what I'm doing.

BTW, I will happily help out getting those nasty axis off the property - any time

Pigs are getting smarter. Second one tried to run in a 'serpentine fashion'. wink

As far as sighting the the thermal--I use those small hand warmers you buy in a pack and shake them to mix the chemicals. Try not to do this when the host west sun is on the target area and it works much better. I just staple them to a target.

But not too much smarter, still running toward the shooter and remaining out in the open instead of seeking cover.

The lack of a suppressor must of confused the hog. roflmao

Reverse psychology. Hunter expects a certain response, Hog does something completely unexpected in an attempt to rattle the shooter. wink Smart, but didn't work this time.

No doubt. Hog probably ran toward the shooter to see what the heck was going on? Or not?

Good shooting.
Editing and production can get better with each new video.
If that's your first video, you're way ahead of most folks
cuz you got an intro and credits already.
