Had a buddy text me yesterday and say they had an opening on his elk/bear hunt next week in Colorado. This has been my dream hunt since I was 13 years old. Unfortunately, being such short notice, I had to pass on this chance. Makes me sick to think about missing out but it happens I guess.

Yep, it happened to me once on a red stag hunt. Regret it to this day!
