Well, we finally saved up enough to get our roof put back up correctly and dried in and I think my subfloors will survive after I can install the 1/4 hardwood plywood for the vinyl(carpet in the two bedrooms). {This a_ _hole did so many things half a_ _ and hope he gets what he deserves)}If we can afford someone to install plumbing for a shower and toilet my grandson and I may have a place to stay and hunt. Not having time or money to feed as usual their was only one feeder going during this time with may camera but looks pretty good and the grandson really wants the tall 6 point.(perfect for his first). I did get up two more feeders this past weekend and broadcast some biologic around corner of my grazer fields(with rain today and tomorrow up there it should work out). A few pics and if anyone knows of someone who will do affordable plubing please let me know...Thanks to all and HAPPY HUNTING.

Nice looking buck

A roof, some insulation, and a 5 gal bucket will get you through this deer season.

I'm glad to hear you have a good roof. That's all you need to have to get through the season.

I hope your grandson gets a chance at that 6. up

When you have the time and extra money, I would consider adding porch over your door. They rot away fairly quickly at the bottom when left exposed.

Smart. That will help a lot with protecting the T1-11 siding that you used on your walls. Also be sure to keep up with painting it regularly since that type of siding is famous for soaking up paint and then flaking off and rotting out quickly. I personally recommend Zinnsser primer. The oil based BIN is the best, but their 123 primer is easier to apply and half the price. Then the only two brands of paint that I recommend are Sherwin Williams and Valspar from Lowes. When the last reformulation happened a few years ago, these are the only two brands that where able to come up with a decent product. The Valspar is going to cost less, and I don't think you'll notice a difference between either. Do not rely on stain or anything clear if you want the T1-11 siding to last. It has to be covered in paint, and lots of it.

I get a lot of jobs going over wood siding with Hardie. But that's a huge project that I'm sure you are not wanting to deal with at this time.

Cabin coming around slowly but livable-still need to hook up plumbing when funds are available. Another newcomer at one of my feeders on my trip up last weekend.

Already nicer than some of the places I have had to put down a bedroll, get it too comfortable and you may never leave grin What is the the red roofed structure on the backside?

I would think someone on here would trade plumbing for a hunt.
