Texas is ranked 9th...... if Texas can handle Baylor, then Oklahoma st the following week, and West Virginia handles Iowa State then Baylor the following week they'll meet up November 3rd for a game with big implications. Hopefully Gameday will come to Austin.

I’m pretty surprised they are ranked higher than Michigan. Since since Michigan beat Maryland and their loss was to a top 5 team.

Good news for the Texas offense.
Word from Texas officials is a first-degree shoulder sprain for QB Sam Ehlinger. According to the school, Ehlinger “will continue to be treated and evaluated as he rehabs and rests his throwing shoulder during the bye week.”

The Big XII is terribly weak, weak enough that it makes a mediocre UT team look good. They are nowhere near a top 10 team.

Yeah everyone said the same thing back in 2005-06 when USC was certainly going to wipe them off the map in a Rose Bowl they didn’t even deserve to be in. You may be right, but let’s let the games play out. That’s why they play them.
