Well, it's a viable concept. But in the real world who knows? Not saying it's the case here, but there have been a lot of "best ever" products introduced to the shooting/hunting world that never played out to be what they claimed. Time will tell......

My son killed his first deer with the .223 bullets. Deer fell over dead in less than 40 yards. If we'd not seen where he dropped, it may have been tough to find. ZERO blood and very small entry hole....insides were as advertised but I changed him over to soft points after that hunt.

That sounds about par for the course with just about every 223 bullet out there save a few like the 60 grain nosler partition, 64 grain bonded performance, 75 grain swift, and a few others.

Agree....and we moved up to a bonded bullet.
