Looking to put together a Axis hunt for a corporate incentive. This would not take place until late next year but I'm looking to get my ducks in a row. I need a place that is bow friendly with high end lodgings that non hunting wives will be more than happy to spend time at while the guys are out hunting. Ox Ranch seems like a great option but I can't find a lot of info on it outside of their own web page. Open to suggestions on any other ranches. Thanks everyone!

Lawndart956, I don't have any experience with Ox Ranch however contact Lonnie Paul Walker regarding the Rain Creek Ranch tell him Ray recommended him. Lonnie is a straight up, honest guy and the Rain Creek outfit sounds perfect for what you are putting together. The Axis on Rain Creek are very impressive with about 5 star accommodations. Not personally, but I know a few people that have been there and they highly recommend it. They post quit a bit on FB and from everything that I've seen, it's first class with outstanding animals on a very big ranch.

I have hunted there maybe 10-12 times. I started hunting there when it was the 4 Aces, before Ox bought it. It is a 17,000 acres, and they have spent a lot of $$ making it a first class operation. They have a big new lodge for cooking and entertaining, and several new cabins for lodging. I think they are really trying to cater to larger groups and more corporate type events. If there is a larger herd of axis, blackbuck, or oryx in the State of Texas I am not aware of it. The sheer number of animals is incredible. They are constantly adding new animals. You will see everything from axis to zebra, and everything you can think of in between. If you would like any more detail, just PM me

Thanks for the input guys. I will look into Rain Creek as well. From what I have seen they both look like great options.
