Got a Kershaw knife from House of Blades in Fort Worth. Blade has S35VN; was told made special for HOB. Any information on the quality?

If I remember correctly, its a metal that was originally made for knives, to hold an edge and be corrosion resistant. Should be pretty good. Im sure I have a couple of knives made with it.

It's more of a semi stainless than stainless. The knife brings back memories because it's very similar to a Barlow which was my dad's favorite knife.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

They make a good blade. I have had a couple and pleased with all three.
