My grandfather passed away this past January at the age of 90. He lived a long and full life, and though was sad, we celebrated his life and the blessings he left with us all. Part of our grieving process was telling many stories and looking at old pictures. My grandfather loved telling the story about this hog, but never mentioned their was a picture of it. It wasn't until his death that i stumbled across the infamous "biggest dang hog to ever walk the woods of Arkansas" - his famous opening line. As the story goes, it took 3 shots of 00 buck at close range to finally bring this porker down. I would guess this was late 70's.

For reference my grandfather was about 5'9''. Would love to hear some weight estimates. Would also like to see your "blasts from the past"
