I wanted to build something adjustable and lightweight so that my son can have something to use. I figured a 6.8 would be a good candidate until he gets his "first" gun.

Build Specs:
Factory BCM lower
Factory BCM upper and 15" KMR hand guard
CMC trigger
ARP barrel , scout profile 16"
Aero precision mount
Leupold VXR CDS 4x12x40

On the bathroom scale , 7 lb 5oz (without bipod )

Hopefully it shoots!

Well done! A 6.8 is on my wish list.

The mount is clean and finished off well. It was a little pain to get the scope lined out but that wa probably my set up.
I'll let you know after it rides around awhile and I shoot it.

Yes!

The mount weighs 3 oz and I just put a Threaded cap on instead of the normal flash hider.

That looks great and the weight is outstanding.

I'm really considering a 6.8 myself.

I recently sold my 300blk upper and brass, so I have a lower just waiting to be topped off. The 300 just didn't give me the fizz.

Looks very good and bet it will be a shooter. What ammo you planning on feeding it?

Unsure, I have to buy a few and see what works best for groups. Ideal would be something carried at academy or cabelas
