 Exotics Hunts Near Houston

I am curious if there are any good opportunites for exotics near houston. I live in midwest and airfare to Austin or San Antonio is nuts, however to get to Houston is about half price. So curious what if any type of hunts are available within a reasonable drive.

Curtis ( www.doublearrowbowhunting.com) is the only place that is a "good opportunity" within a "reasonable drive." I live here and do most of my hunting in the Hill Country; only long drive is one over 6 hours in the Lone Star State. Stay AWAY from Cougar Run Ranch. Texas Elite Outfitters may have some stuff in Buffalo, not sure. Good luck

You may research eagle lake exotics I don't think Benny is there any longer, although I might be mistaken. Probably a good thing he claimed to me they had plenty of Axis over 33" I paid $1000 deposit hunted 1 evening and morning and saw 10 Axis bucks but none bigger than 30"-31" and he kept my deposit. He said I could do a return hunt but after seeing the quality of animals and high prices I never returned.
