The one in San Angelo is a great store IMHO. I don't believe it's a chain store!!!!

We have a field & stream opening up here in Katy as well. Along with Dick's sporting goods right next to it. Not sure if it's all one store or not yet.

Are these large stores like Cabelas/BP, or smaller like Academy? I never heard of a store that name, maybe they will move into DFW as well. Any competition is welcome.

We have a field & stream opening up here in Katy as well. Along with Dick's sporting goods right next to it. Not sure if it's all one store or not yet. Yeah Dick's, Field & Stream, and Golf Galaxy are opening up 10 stores in the Houston area on the 21. All that area of Katy is missing is a Cabela's. Naturally I am going to check it out to make sure it's the same stuff in a different store.

F&S store is small compared to Dick's.
Wish Dick's would change its name. I bought my field and stream eagle talon fishing kayak from Dick's several years ago. Those kayaks are exclusive to Dick's. I imagine F&S is expanding its line and opening a few stores. From what was said above, it sounds like they are keeping their Dick's partnership in some way, since they are opening in the same shopping center.
