I wasn't in the stand (not bowhunting this year after moving to a better spot on the lease in late July when that guy got himself kicked off) but was at the lease getting my stand off the trailer and in the area. I saw the sunrise in camp, and immediately thought that I needed to go the wife out of bed to see it but just then another guy on the lease hollered at me and I walked over there to talk to him and forgot all about it. I told her that later and she was disappointed. It really was one of the better sunrises I've seen in a while.
Walk the night, travel light, cross the Rio Grande
Someone strums a mandolin, soft gulf breezes blow
My new life is waiting in old Mexico
