In my research of this scope, I read the eye relief is not all at great. Those that have this scope has eye relief been an issue or noticed ?

Curious as well on user reports. The 4-14x50 F1 is intriguing. I've played with one in the hand but not shot with one.

I love mine but to be honest, I had to mount it further back than usual on my F-Class rifle. But my LOP is really about 13", so most standard 14+" LOP guns are really too long for me. I judge the LOP when I hold my rifle in a standing position. Here are some pics of how I mounted mine. I can get a full FOV on 25X now.

I've been to cabelas twice to fondle it, but as we all know all scopes look decent in the store. This scope is my leading candidate until I recently read about 2.8-3" eye relief.

Probably not a good candidate to put on a .458 Lott, huh?

Looked through some on my range. The glass is nice. I want one.

The SHV models of glass are some of my favorite. With the right reticle, they are very good and useful scopes.

Eye relief wasn't an issue? Because I know you had it cranked up

I have the 4-14x50 F1 and haven't noticed. But I also have it on an AR10 with Magpul PRS stock so I have alot of adjustment available on my top rail and with stock. POrobably just never noticed the short eye relief.

Glass is great. I can't tell a difference from NXS glass. I just wish they would update the illuminated reticle and offer the FFP in higher magnification.

I've got an SHV on my 7 Mag. I haven't noticed any issues with eye relief. I will take a pic tonight if my old tired brain can remember to.

I posted this exact same question several months ago. I passed on the same scope because I though the eye relief was too short. I was in a store (Cabelas maybe but I'm not sure) last month and they had the scope mounted on a rifle to sell as a package. I shouldered it and it didn't seem too bad. The eye relief didn't seem any shorter different than other scopes. I now think it would work fine. I wonder if Nightforce measures eye relief differently than other manufactures?
