Saw this buck this evening. Blind in his right eye and he was limping pretty bad.

I guess that depends on where you are. Doesn't look like south Texas but depending on where you are I guess they could be but it's doubtful!

Look like an older injury to me. I agree on the eye injury but this guy could barely walk. He either mixed it up with another buck or he has some kind of permanent injury to his right front leg.

In mills county today I saw one group of six bucks and another of four, haven't even broken up the frats yet.

I have pics of them sparring in Hunt County. It started last week.

I saw and heard some aggressive sparring, too loud for sparring but not a fight so it is starting in Hamilton County.

These four were hanging together the past couple weeks. This morning though, I hear the clack-click-clackity and two of them were going at it. Kinda tame but occupied them enough for me to get in a stand and watch them 40 yards away. Hopkins County.
