They are fine but if you shop you can get into a vx3.

The ocular adjustment has no lockdown on the VX-2. I don't much care for that...but I do have a single VX-2 among my scopes. Can't complain at all about the glass. Nice scope for the money, IMO. But, as Bro-in-Law is saying, go VX-3 or VX-3i if you can swing it. It IS a much better scope.

I have a VX2 and several VX3's and VariX III's. I probably won't buy more VX2's, though they are good scopes.

I just put a VX3i on one of mine. Price wasn't all that much more than a vx2 if I recall.

I own a VX-2, VX-R and VX-3. The glass is progressively better but not by that much to my eyes. Where you get a big jump in glass quality is from the VX-1 to VX-2 and from the VX-3 to VX-6.


Don’t roll those bloodshot eyes at me.
