Hey Everyone,

I am looking to buy a Ruger LCR in .22lr.

Looks like a fun gun and I want something light/small to pack around while hunting.

Located in Hurst.

Thanks!

Good luck with finding one. I was looking for a .22 snub nose for about 2 months with no luck until this past Friday. I found a used one at DFW Shooting Sports and made a trade for it. I had one other one I thought I was going to get but it was sold shortly before I got there. Unless you are willing to buy a new one they are apparently very hard to come by.

I got the chance to try mine out shortly after I got home with it, I was doing a little yard cleaning and picked up the cover to a sand box and had a delightful surprise. Found a copperhead coiled up and luckily it was cold so I had a chance to load up with some rat shot and dispatched it. The Ruger worked like a charm.

Yeah I'm sure it will be tough.

That crazy you got to try it out! How did the rat shot do against the copperhead? Is it a 22 lr or a 22 magnum?
