Here in Texas, we don’t believe that the atmosphere is a big part of a restaurant. We know that most of the time, the places that look a bit run down and uninviting often serve the best food because that’s all they have to worry about. We wrote an article on this topic a while back, which you can find here, but there are just so many in our state that we had to do a follow-up. Here are seven more delicious ‘hole in the wall’ restaurants in Texas whose quality of food doesn’t match how they look on the outside.

Casa Manana in Wichita Falls has been around longer than me. They didn't mention their cheese queso which is the best I have ever ate. The red tacos are awesome too. Gonna have to try The Hole in the Wall in Newcastle next time I'm in Graham.

Casa Manana (Wichita Falls) Gotta try next time visiting the inlaws
Hole in the Wall Cafe (Newcastle) Eaten there a couple of times and it was good.
Ye Old Butcher Shop (Plano) Good food, terrible deer processor!
