My wife and I walked down to our pond to do a little fishing before dark and a little after 7pm, this group of six hogs came out to tear up the grass on my dam. This wasn't a total surprise since it's been happening for a few days now. I have a friend coming from Austin this weekend who has never shot a hog before, so we're just hoping they stick around for a few more days.

You are a patient landowner to not shoot on site. I hope your friend gets on them.

I would still be shooting. I have had a few hunts ruined by hogs appearing at the feeder to run off deer then me shooting hogs to ruin the hunt for the day.

What pound test line were ya'll using? I bet they fight harder than the trout I catch on corn.
