My first time to apply for a drawn hunt. I went to check my status and most of my entries are still 'application received.' But one of them is 'pending second draw.' Does anyone know if that means I have a good chance? Thanks!

I had a few pending second draw. Now they have changed to Not Selected Cross your fingers

You have a horrible chance of getting selected if it says "pending second draw" BUT there is still a chance.

Received means the drawing hasn't happened yet, or if it has it has not yet been published.
When someone is selected they have some time to accept and pay the fee (no fee for youth hunts), and if not accepted/payed by the deadline, those seats are redrawn again. Anyone pending second drawing are waiting for all selected applicants to accept/pay; that second drawing is for many less number of seats as the original drawing so your odds are lower than before, but as mentioned above.... hang in there!

Checked my Status again this morning, and still "Pending 2nd Drawing" on the 6 Apps that were not listed as "Not Selected".

I have 3 GDA's and 3 GDE's, with 14 LP's in the GDE Hunts....but was Not Selected on the 1 EXO Hunt App I put in for with 17 LP's. This TPW Draw Hunt thingy is for sure a "RoseAnn Roseannadanna It's Always sumthin" gig.

The deadline for payment on the 9/20 draws is 10/06. After that, they will do the second draw.

Just saw my Status had changed in all 6 of my remaining 2nd Draw Pendings to Not Selected, with 14 LP's in the 4 GDE locations. Not suprised....just need to find a new place to try. Time to forget about the TPW Lottery I guess since it's been 6-7 years since I've been drawn for anything, except some old style standby lotterys'at the gate for hunters willing to make the extra effort...and the 2nd Drawng thingy has taken that access program off the map too. Seems like Scratch Off's got better odd's of winning.

Well that's depressing.

Gun mule deer cut off is next week. 'Noticed last night that the dates for Black Gap are the exact dates I committed to take a close friend to the lease. I have a few points. I'll probably draw now. He takes priority; one of the days he'll be with me is the one-year anniversary of his wife passing. 'Might be some drinkin' involved. (After the hunting, of course.)

Still have 6 with application received. One not selected and one won.
