I've seen a few small groups of big ducks around where there hasn't been. We also had a few pairs come in while teal hunting.
This cool weather and seeing ducks is getting me ready for November!

Most geese and big ducks are up around the latitude of New York and Massachussets right now.
We are going to need some major cool fronts!
Thought for the day: Ducks were almost hunted to extinction long before camo was invented.

Saw a couple of small sets of pintails last week when on a teal hunt. We tried to get em in for the fun of it and they were tempted but never decoyed. They are so fun to
watch !

I was on a roof in Little Rock Arkansas the last couple days and flocks of geese flew over the area. I dam near fell off the roof skywatching.
