Well, had a great time with Pitchfork and Erathkid but let me tell ya what.. it was WET.

We got stuck down there due to massive flooding. We got out about 3:30pm yesterday.

Here are some photos:

Still a LOT of fun!

Beats being stuck in Dallas! Cool that you found a good extension cord in all that grin

Thanks for sharing and being careful, but how did you use that extension cord as a lifeline crossing the creek with it all wound up?

Simple water crossing, looks like.

We definitely needed the rain.

Glad you guys out without issue.

If you go anywhere with Pitchfork there is a pretty good chance of getting stuck in the mud, I've learned that the hard way a few times grin

Glad y'all got out OK. Chris and I left early Sunday, around 0900. Good thing we did, it was scary even then. Great time and saw animals. My Son missed a 230yd, "chip shot" at an axis doe that was being pushed around by a buck in velvet. We ate like kings too. Thanks again, Russ up

Oh he ended up using the stick rather than the cord, but could have unwound it if need be. I did not have any rope handy.

It was, as always, a good time, no matter if we got rain wink

We will do it again soon!
